W3-Professorship of Energy-efficient Building Services Engineering
We are looking for a recognized and enthusiastic personality in the field of energy-efficient building services engineering to fill the collegial position of Director of the Institute of Concrete Structures and Building Materials (IMB). You will represent the new subject area in teaching, research and innovation and make significant contributions to energy and building technology. You complement the engineering development of components and integrate them optimally into the building structure. You will act in an inter-faculty team with planning and design related disciplines in order to further develop climate-adapted and resource-efficient buildings.
In the field of academic education, you represent your discipline didactically competently in bachelor's and master's courses, in particular civil engineering and in related disciplines. In addition, you bring your profound knowledge and practical experience to the qualification and promotion of young scientists.
Participation in academic self-administration is also expected as well as interdisciplinary cooperation and the acquisition of third-party funds for research and innovation. Teaching experience and proven didactic skills are expected, which are proven by a habilitation or an equivalent qualification which can also be acquired outside of an university.
Employment conditions as outlined in § 47 LHG (Act of Baden-Württemberg on Universities and Colleges) in conjunction with § 20 KITG (KIT-Act) in the version applicable until the legal validity of the 2. KIT-Weiterentwicklungsgesetz (2nd KIT Further Development Act) shall apply.
