We are looking for a personality who will play a leading role in shaping the new interdisciplinary research institute Work – Education – Digitalization of FernUniversität in Hagen. The institute researches the digital transformation of work, the competencies required of employees for this transformation, as well as the organizational and didactic challenges in teaching relevant skills using digitally supported teaching and learning formats within the context of lifelong learning.
The focus of this professorship is on linking the individual aspects of work and digitalization. The research is application oriented. The candidate demonstrates their expertise through relevant publications in this field. Experience in the acquisition of third- party funds is desirable. In accordance with profile requirements, we expect a high level of communication skills and an interdisciplinary approach.
The focus of the professorship lying on research and transfer, the teaching load is reduced to two semester hours per week. Experience in digital teaching is desirable.
Academic performance in accordance with § 36 of the Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia is a prerequisite for employment. Health and family-oriented aspects are valued in our staff culture.
