The Department of Economics is part of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics. We are a highly international and research-oriented Department. More than 30 full-time junior and senior professors together with numerous PhD students form an international community dedicated to studying all aspects of economics. Duration of employment: 5 year/s

Extent of Employment: 10.0 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 lit. b (postdoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

Job Description:
Active Participation in research, teaching and administration - Participation in research projects - (International)

publishing and presentation activities - Project application and (external) fundraising - Holding classes due to extent regulations of wage agreement - Examination activities - Support of students - Participation in evaluation activities and in quality assurance - Participation in administration of the institute /department

Profile:
Applicants must have completed a PhD in Economics and have at least 2 years of experience at a Post-Doc position after completing their PhD. Expertise in microeconomic theory, theoretical industrial organization and analysis of search behavior is required. Knowledge of German is an asset but not required.
