Training Manager (Base4NFDI)
(Salary group 13 TV-L, 75% working time, initially limited until 29.02.2028)
As part of a highly motivated team, you will help shape Germany’s most ambitious endeavor to provide support services for research data management.
The Project Coordination of Base4NFDI, located at TU Dresden, SUB Göttingen, and GESIS Mannheim will be at the center stage of this effort and synchronize
Base4NFDI’s development projects with the German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). To help shape our dynamic team, we will welcome your ideas and expertise.
Your tasks will be:
Conceptually develop and communicate a framework (formats and content) for trainings for users of basic services (also through e-learning formats) to address heterogeneous scientific and technical backgrounds
Analyse training requirements of researchers from different scientific contexts and employees of scientific infrastructure providers
Responsibility for overall coordination of trainings for scientific users & support for providers of user trainings in the evolving context of Base4NFDI’s nationwide development projects
Set up structures to support Base4NFDI’s partners in
providing user trainings
Conceptually and organizationally contribute to Base4NFDI as part of the Coordination Office (e.g. with regard to Base4NFDI’s decision-making processes)
Your profile:
A Master’s Degree
Experience in project management, and one or more of the following: user trainings for software or IT-related processes, knowledge of e-learning tools
Willingness to learn and acquire new skills
Delight in straightforward communication and working in teams
Proficiency in English and German and intercultural competence
