Senior Researcher (Postdoc) Human Computer Interaction
(Salary group 13 TV-L, 75% up to 100 % working time, 5 year contract with possibility of extension)
The department Knowledge Technologies for Social Sciences (KTS) conducts research at the intersection of information retrieval, natural language processing, semantic technologies and human information interaction as foundation for innovative web portals and platforms for the search and use of research data. KTS innovations are based on a state-of-the-art software stack and research-based innovations in the aforementioned fields.
You will design, conduct and analyze user studies on the base services developed within Base4NFDI. This includes the recruiting of a panel of scientists and other stakeholders. Both qualitative and quantitative methods can be applied.
Your tasks will be:
To design, conduct and analyze user studies on the base services developed within Base4NFDI
To recruit a panel of scientists and other stakeholders for said base services
Excellent research on the topics of the department
Participation in NFDI committees and other working groups
Your profile:
Master in Human Computer Interaction or similar
qualification, such as Computer Science or Information Science
Working experiences and/or a completed PhD in Human Computer Interaction would be ideal
Excellent scientific track record with peer-reviewed publications in relevant journals and/or conferences
Business fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus
