Scientific coordinator for an European Metrology Network on Mathematics and Statistics
This position is available on the basis of a 3-year fixed-term contract. The salary will be paid in accordance with remuneration group 13 TVöD Bund. You will be employed at our Berlin site.
The proposed network project aims to support the coordination and extension of the European Metrology Network on Mathematics and Statistics. More information can be

establishing and maintaining a stakeholder network and an advisory board with members from science, industry and international organisations incl. organizing of scientific events and public relations
You have a postgraduate qualification (German "Diplom" or master's degree) in applied mathematics, statistics, theoretical physics or a relevant engineering science, preferably with PhD.
You have experiences in designing and preparing research project proposals.
You have an independent and well-structured working style.
You have excellent communication skills and are a team player, and you are open-minded.
You have excellent organization skills.
You have an excellent command of English and are able to present results convincingly, in spoken and in written language.
You are highly committed and flexible.
You will have to travel within Germany and abroad for business purposes.
