Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to.
Execution of innovative research projects in the field of biocatalysis and enzyme engineering
Development and expansion of the state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure
Supervision of internships, Bachelor's and Master's theses
Support in the acquisition and implementation of funded R&D projects with partners from industry and the public sector
You have a PhD degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or biotechnology or several years of industrial experience in the relevant field.
You have theoretical and practical knowledge in (computational) protein engineering, biochemical reactions, molecular biology,
enzyme assay development and analytics (GC, GC-MS, HPLC-MS). Experience in the handling and analysis of oligonucleotides
is highly desirable.You are motivated to conduct research in a future-oriented scientific field and are interested in the technical
implementation of new methods.You are enthusiastic about working in a multidisciplinary environment and able to communicate
well with scientific and industrial partners. Curiosity, didactic skills, and enjoyment to work with students complete your profile.
