Faculty II - Institute of Theoretical Physics / Statistical Physics of Soft Matter and Biological SystemsReference number: II-289/17 (starting at 01/10/17 / for a period of max. 5 years / closing date for applications 30/06/17)
Working field: Teaching assistant and research in the field of statistical physics of soft matter and biological systems with the focus on active systems, complex fluids and (bio) fluid dynamics at our institute.
Requirements: Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in physics; very good knowledge in theoretical physics and didactical skills are necessary; fluency in spoken and written German is necessary; knowledge in statistical physics of soft matter and in numerical methods is favored; high level of commitment, ability to work independently.
