INSTITUTE OF ECONOMICS AND LAW I DEPARTMENT FOR LAW
The future holder of the position should widely represent the subject
of law, in particular public law, in teaching and research. Main research
topics in the field of participation and planning are expected. A main
research area in media and/or internet law is desired.
Besides excellent skills in terms of performing independent scientific
work that should be documented through excellent publications in the
research fields of participation and/or planning, a relevant pedagogical
suitability is a prerequisite; likewise the proven capability for interdisciplinary
work. Furthermore, it is expected that the holder of the
position will play an active role in academic self-administration.
The teaching duties comprise courses in the aforementioned research
areas as well as participation in managing and implementing the study
programs M. Sc. Planning and Participation and Master:Online Citizen
Participation. Basic legal knowledge is to be imparted within the framework
of the courses for students from all fields of study. Moreover,
further legal teaching programs in public as well as in private law are
to be coordinated, whereby their quality is also to be assured.
The requirements for employment listed in § 47 and § 50 Baden-
Württemberg university law apply. Habilitation resp. performances
equivalent to habilitation are a prerequisite.
