Your qualification:

We are looking for a person who is recognized in education and research in the field of supply systems and renewable enery and has excellent knowledge in several of the subject areas listed below as well as practical engineering experience. The person can represent this in the study courses of the bachelor's and master's courses in the department of Environmental Engineering and Applied Computer Science and in the research field - especially against the background of general climate change and the requirements for sustainable energy supply:

• Fundamentals of energy supply systems
• Technology and application of renewable energy systems
• Decentralized supply systems
• Climate change and energy supply
• Modeling and simulation of renewable energy systems

The University of Applied Sciences and Arts Ostwestfalen-Lippe lives the unity of education and research. You are interested and willing to take an active part in raising third-party funds and research projects in the subject areas you are responsible for. You identify yourself with the supervision concept of the university, in which a high presence of the lecturers at the university’s campus and the willingness to take on tasks of the university's self-administration are required. Furthermore, your participation in designing and further developing the study course “Precision Farming” is expected. You offer your courses in German. In addition, you are qualified to conduct courses in English. In addition, you promote innovative and interdisciplinary study and communication formats for interdisciplinary teaching and for dialogue between science and society. If necessary, you will provide 25 % of your teaching as digital teaching to enable cross-location events.
