Professorship for "Nursing Science" at Münster School of Health
What to expect:
You will teach the full breadth of the subject Nursing Science in the relevant degree programmes and are capable of preparing your area of specialisation for the specific purpose of teaching Nursing Education students.
Your interdisciplinary teaching will respond to the current discourse on research in nursing science and focus on innovations in the nursing and care of acute/chronically ill patients, especially in long-term care or in outpatient and (partially) inpatient settings.
You will develop and accompany projects on knowledge transfer, such as participatory, cross-sectoral care models in collaboration with practice partners.
Your research will focus on the field of nursing care.
You will promote the university’s internationalisation strategy, such as by delivering courses in English.
You have a university degree in Nursing Science as well as an above-average PhD in a subject relevant to the advertised teaching area.
You also have relevant practical experience in nursing. Your areas of specialisation may be in fields such as integrated care, geriatric care, long-term care of the chronically ill, or diversity.
Ideally, you will also have completed training to become a nurse.
In addition, you possess the skills required to
undertake evidence-based nursing
design, implement and evaluate innovations in nursing
develop and assure quality in relevant fields of practice
plan and deliver competency-based teaching.
