The Goethe-University Frankfurt, Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics, invites applications to fill the following position as civil servant or public employee:
for Geometric Analysis
We are seeking a candidate widely recognized for excellent research complementing the strengths of the Institute of Mathematics and in particular the existing groups in Partial Differential Equations and Differential Geometry. Candidates must have a track record of international recognized publications in the area of geometric analysis and are expected to show willingness to cooperate and commitment in the acquisition of third-party funding.
The successful applicant will be actively involved in the teaching tasks of the department with an emphasis on analysis and including teaching services for other faculties, and within academic self-administration. The professorship is also involved in teacher-training; experience and concepts for teaching subject content in schools are welcome.
The designated salary for the position is based on the German university pay scale or equivalent.
