Professorship for "Diversity and Community Work"
at the Department of Social Work

What to expect:

  • You will teach on our Bachelor and Master’s programmes at the Department of Social Work.
  • Your teaching and research will focus on (cultural) diversity and community work.
  • You enjoy applying to interdisciplinary contexts the expertise gained in the course of your practical professional and academic work.
  • You will contribute to self-government at the department and to the further development of degree programmes, and will be involved in continuing education.
  • You have an open mind about delivering digital-based courses, possibly also in English.

Your background:

  • Your expertise is underpinned by a degree in Education Science, Psychology or a comparable qualification.
  • You also have a doctorate in a relevant subject, completed with above-average success.
  • We value your professional experience with a relevance to social work. Ideally, you also have experience in fieldwork with a social-psychological orientation.
  • Ideally, you have extensive experience in teaching, and are familiar with applying for and collaborating in research projects.
  • Your portfolio is complemented by a network of partners from the field.
