Your tasks:
You create fundamental courses in the areas of ‘Components and Basic Circuits’ as well as of ‘Electronics’. Furthermore, you offer suitable compulsory elective courses in the bachelor programs e. g. with regard to ‘Computer-aided Design of Electronic Circuits and Systems’ or to ‘Electronic Design’ as well as advanced courses derived from your research topics in the master programs.
The Department is one of the most research-intensive at German universities. You are actively involved in strengthening this position through research activities, the acquisition of external funds and the establishment of a working group in your area of research. You cooperate with the regional and national industry. Participation in the research institutes of the Department is desired.
Furthermore, you promote innovative and interdisciplinary study and communication formats for multidisciplinary teaching and for the dialog between science and society. This may include, in particular, interdisciplinary student projects and may involve, if possible, several departments. 25 % of your teaching is provided as digital teaching, if required, to enable cross-location events.
You identify with the university's supervision concept, which requires a high presence of the lecturers at the university location and the willingness to take on self-administrative task at the university. You offer your courses in German. In addition, you are qualified to conduct courses in English.
Your profile:
We are searching for a personality committed to teaching and research with experience in the field of industrial electronics. Special knowledge in the design of energy- and resource-efficient and reliable circuits and systems is desirable.
