Teaching and artistic supervision in the diploma programme Media Art.
Developing and delivering courses for students of all disciplines at different stages of their studies.
Promoting a diverse and inclusive vision of media art in relation to social issues, particularly digital cultures and their historical antecedents.
Actively shaping a collaborative research and teaching culture within the university and in cooperation with the ZKM, the HfG's partner institution.
Carrying out collaborative projects with external partners and acquiring funding.
Participation in academic self-administration and the university's committees.
Further duties are given in § 46 of the Baden-Württemberg University Law (‚Landeshochschulgesetz‘).
You represent an outstanding artistic or discursive position within your field and have demonstrated this internationally.
Your practice reflexively engages with art in the field of tension of its social and cultural environments and issues.
You have an interest in and experience of working in interdisciplinary contexts and projects within and outside the university, possibly in a leading role.
You are internationally networked and willing to relocate your centre of life to the Karlsruhe region, as your high temporal presence at the Karlsruhe location is expected.

Completion of a university degree in the field relevant to the professorship.

Relevant practical and theoretical knowledge of analogue and digital processes for image production and editing.
