What to expect:
You will be responsible for conducting independent teaching and research in the subject of Building Construction at MSA.
In addition, you will support our internationalisation strategy with enthusiasm and competence.
Besides your readiness to shape and further develop the curricula, you will represent MSA on committees and at meetings in the context of self-government.
Last but not least, you will be involved in continuing education at MSA.
Your expertise is based on a degree in Architecture as well as recognised academic and practical experience in architecture-related building construction.
You also have a firm understanding of design relating to the connection between modular construction, materiality and spatial impact.
We can rely on your outstanding knowledge of integral planning, taking into account load-bearing structures and building services.
These competencies are supplemented by an in-depth exploration of economic parameters on the one hand and the environmental consequences of construction on the other.
Experience in applying digital planning methods such as BIM or comparable future-oriented methods of construction complement your portfolio.
A relevant doctorate is desirable. The requirements for recruitment under Section 36 of the Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia (HSG NRW) apply.
