The Faculty of Psychology at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum invites applications for a position of

Professor for Personality Psychology (salary scale W3, tenured) (m/f/d)

starting as soon as possible.

The professorship represents the subject of personality psychology in research and teaching. The required research profile includes advanced current substantive and methodological developments in personality psychology and a high degree of compatibility to other research areas of the Faculty of Psychology.

In teaching, the professorship represents the field of personality and differential psychology in the BSc and MSc programmes of the Faculty of Psychology. Main teaching duties involve the teaching of the basics and current research topics in this subject in lectures and seminars as well as the supervision of theses in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes.

The requirements according to § 36 ff. Hochschulgesetz NW must be fulfilled.

Publications in internationally renowned journals, success in obtaining significant competitive third-party funding (e.g. DFG-funded projects, BMBF, etc.) and relevant teaching experience are expected. A willingness to participate in ambitious collaborative projects is a prerequisite.
