PhD student position in Immunobiology
Applications are invited from highly motivated and outstanding students with a master‘s degree (or equivalent) in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or immunology.
The position is embedded in a research team focusing on pathogenetic mechanisms of autoimmune diseases. The PhD project will investigate monogenetic autoimmune diseases and the role of genes associated with the development of autoimmune diseases.
Requirements:
- graduation at a master‘s level (or equivalent) by the time of application with an above-average university degree (B+ or better; 2+ or better)
- strong interest in immunology/autoimmunity and enthusiastic about research lab work
- experience in cell culture and molecular biological techniques is an advantage
- qualified to communicate and perform research in English
