The South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences and its Center for Business Education – Campus Soest is seeking to appoint a
Lecturer for Special Assignments
in “Business Administration”
to start from September 1, 2018.
Key role of the lecturer is teaching in the Bachelor program "Business Administration with Informatics" (www.fh-swf.de/bba), which is taught entirely in the English language and addresses a highly motivated international audience. Thus, all lectures, seminars and the communication with students completely take place in English. Subjects to be taught are in the areas of Business Administration, Marketing (B-to-C, B-to-B) and Logistics. The fulfilment of further administrative tasks such as Alumni management, advertising the study course etc. is expected.
University degree (Master or University Diploma) in Business Administration or related areas
Experience with the supervision of students and/or teaching experience
Ability to teach in the English language
Approved didactic abilities, flexibility and a broad scope of subjects (please indicate interests and experiences) as well as an open-minded personality are advantageous
The permanent part-time contract (50%) contains a quantity of 10 lecture hours weekly (Semesterwochenstunden) according the "Tarifvertrag für den öffentlichen Dienst der Länder (TV-L)". The candidate has the possibilty to pursue their PhD. If a PhD is intended, the university degree has to comply with the applicable PhD regulation (Promotionsordnung).
