We are seeking to recruit at the earliest possibility and on a full-time permanent basis a Lead Intellectual Property Manager (f/m/d) with global responsibilities at
KWS SAAT SE in Einbeck, Lower Saxony, Germany. You will report to the Head of Intellectual Property.
Lead intellectual property (IP) evaluation for R&D, Breeding and Business operations to achieve the global goals of the KWS Group
Professional and disciplinary team leadership
Devise mitigation strategies and alternatives to ensure freedom to operate taking into consideration the KWS R&D, Breeding and Business needs
Execute and provide IP expertise in the context of M&A, Due Diligence, transactions and other collaborations
Manage the global IP Interaction Concept to provide IP and business advice from project ideation to product commercialization
Develop IP strategies for value creation to strengthen the KWS IP portfolio
Several years of working experience in IP management
MSc or PhD in life sciences, biology, agronomy, plant breeding or in a related field
Qualification as European Patent Attorney or US Patent Attorney/Agent an asset
Independent, pro-active and goal-oriented entrepreneur with leadership capacities
Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills
Proficiency in English
