The Faculty of Law, Business & Economics at the University of Bayreuth is currently seeking to appoint a
Full Professor of Public Law
at salary grade W3 to commence as soon as possible. This is a permanent civil service position.
The successful applicant will represent public law in its entire breadth in research and teaching. Applicants must have a proven record in constitutional and administrative law and a research profile that fits in with the economic law orientation of the faculty and complements the existing expertise in terms of subject matter.
In particular, a research interest in questions of sustainability or social law is desirable.
The aim is to attract a scholar who, due to his / her qualifications and research orientation, can contribute to the networking of law and economics, and who will participate in joint research projects of law and economics. Active participation in university self-administration is required.
A commitment to teaching, including examination preparation and the LL.B. programmes of the faculty, as well as active participation in the supplementary programme in environmental law and the main legal areas offered, is expected. A willingness and ability to teach courses in a foreign language (e.g. English, French, or Spanish) are expected.
