Full Professor of Criminal Law,
Criminal Procedure Law & Computer
Criminal Law and/or Medical Criminal Law
at salary grade W3 to commence at the earliest convenience. This is a permanent civil service position.
The successful applicant will be expected to represent criminal law and criminal procedure law, in particular in an area outside of core criminal law, in both research and teaching. Applicants are expected to take responsibility for examination preparation in criminal law; experience in examination preparation is a prerequisite. Applicants must have a proven track record in research and teaching in the examination-relevant area of core criminal law and criminal procedural law as well as in another area outside of core criminal law, and must have a research profile that, due to its focus and its practical relevance, fits into the orientation of the faculty’s criminal law pillar, but at the same time complements it in terms of subject matter. The latter will be evidenced by a research focus in one of the following areas of law: computer criminal law and/or medical criminal law. We are looking for a scholar who will participate in joint research projects as well as in self-government and who, due to his/her qualifications and research orientation, will contribute to the networking of law and economics. Responsible participation in the LL.B. programmes in law is also expected. The ability to teach in English would be an asset.
