Academic Employee (f/m/d) in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
As part of your work, you will research existing procedures for model-based anomaly detection in networked automation systems as well as technical systems and work on machine learning procedures, graph-theoretical procedures and error detection. Furthermore, you will develop procedures for the model-based detection of attacks with false data injection and derive countermeasures. In addition, you will compare these with graph-theoretical procedures for the detection of attack points, subsequently supplement these and validate the procedures within the framework of the KASTEL Security Lab Energy. The supervision of students, support in teaching and the publication of scientific results are also part of your area of responsibility.
In addition to the scientific work, there is the possibility of a PhD.
You have a university degree (Diplom (Uni) / Master) in the field of computer science with knowledge in automation or in the field of electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
The following in-depth knowledge and experience are an advantage:
- in the area of machine learning
- in automation
- in the field of software engineering
- in dealing with programming languages
- with regard to device operating systems
- in embedded systems
