Working field: In a research project funded by DFG, a methodology shall be developed to identify feasible technologies and
strategies for a fully decarbonised transport system in urban environments. Using the region of Berlin-Brandenburg as an application case,
various scenarios are to be evaluated with respect to technical feasibility system cost, environmental impact and other, traffic-related performance measures.
Successfully completed university degree (Diplom, Master or equivalent), preferably in Mechanical, Automotive or Industrial Engineering
Extensive knowledge of alternative drivetrain technologies
Experience in dynamic systems modeling, preferably in Matlab/Simulink
Programming experience in Matlab, Python, Java etc. desired
First experiences in economics calculation and life cycle assessment (LCA) desired
Well-developed methodological skills
Excellent German and English language skills
