The Metabolomics Core Facility of the Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology is seeking a highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researcher to contribute to our cutting-edge research in the dynamic field of metabolomics.
Key responsibilities
As a valued member of our dynamic research team, your role will encompass the following exciting responsibilities:
strategic planning collaboration:
collaborate closely with researchers at the MPI for Terrestrial Microbiology and external partners to contribute to the planning of innovative research projects in the field of metabolomics
cutting-edge method development:
spearhead the development and optimization of novel LC-MS methods
drive innovation by developing methods for structural elucidation and lipidomics
pioneer the integration of isotopic labeling strategies into routine facility operations
scientific documentation and publication:
thoroughly document and meticulously publish your groundbreaking scientific results
Your profile
Ph.D. in analytical, biological, or related natural science disciplines
proven expertise in mass spectrometry and chromatography
strong self-motivation, commitment, and collaborative spirit
independent work style with creative and analytical thinking
excellent English communication and social competence
