Postdoc (m/f/d)
The position offers the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research project investigating the molecular effects of glucocorticoid and catecholamine combination treatment in inflammatory models. The aim is to understand and optimize the mechanisms of this combination therapy in order to minimize unwanted side effects through more targeted and cell type-specific therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities include both in vitro and in vivo studies, analysis of "omics" data and a translational approach that includes translation of results to the human system. We are looking for an innovative, curious and team-oriented researcher to join our motivated and competent multidisciplinary team of scientists and technical staff. We offer an exciting work environment and application-oriented research.
experience/expertise in one or more of the following areas: cell culture and molecular techniques; handling of in vivo mouse models (FELASA); scientific data analysis (single nuceli RNAseq and ATACseq, ChIPseq)
experience in project management is an advantage

Your responsibilities:
working in cell culture, including primary cultures
analysis and integration of "omics" data sets
implementation of molecular biology techniques (Elisa, Luminex, electrophoresis, flow cytometry)
animal experimental work with complex transgenic mice
independent experimental planning
writing publications and supporting the project leader in writing grants
