The candidate should have expertise in one or several sub-areas of visual computing (i.e. the computational handling of image-, video-, or geometry-data in 2D and 3D), thereby developing and applying algorithmic (e.g. simulation, optimization) and/or data-driven methods (e.g. data analysis, machine learning).
