JOB DESCRIPTION
- You will primarily teach in English in the degree programs offered by the TEXOVERSUM School of Textiles, focusing on processes of change in the fashion and textile industry.
- You enjoy empowering students to successfully shape organizational transformations and teaching complex topics in a practical manner. Developing students' skills is your top priority.
- You apply theoretical concepts and models to explain and manage change processes.
- You design and develop degree programs as well as innovative, interactive teaching formats (e.g., project work and case studies, simulation-based learning, blended learning).
- You conduct research on organizational development, change and transformation management, build up an independent transfer and research profile, and initiate cooperative practical projects with industry partners.
- You are present at the university, actively participate in academic self-administration, and contribute to the strategic development of the TEXOVERSUM School of Textiles.
- You contribute your international experience and your commitment to promoting diversity and equal opportunities in teaching, research, and transfer.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- A completed university degree and a relevant doctorate.
- Proven scientific and/or professional experience in areas such as change management, organizational development, transformation, behavioral economics, or business psychology.
- Practical experience in the application of analysis and design methods for organizational change processes.
- Willingness and ability to apply and further develop innovative teaching concepts.
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and teach content in a practical manner.
- Excellent teaching skills, especially in dealing with diverse teaching situations.
- Excellent English skills (equivalent to C1) and good German skills.
- Team spirit, intercultural competence, and commitment to an appreciative teaching and working culture.
