W2 Professorship – International Management (m/f/d)

Ihr Your area of responsibility

You will teach courses in German and English in the fields of International Management and related areas such as Organizational Behavior, International Marketing, and International HRM in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs at the Faculty of Business and Law. You will use both traditional classroom-based and digital teaching formats, such as blended learning.
You will participate in the organizational, conceptual, and methodological-didactic development of the faculty's study program on current topics in the field of International Management, such as globalization, sustainability, and diversity management, and you will play an active role in academic self-administration.
You supervise and advise students in the context of project work, as well as bachelor's and master's theses.
You will initiate and/or collaborate on research activities and publications in the field of International Management.
You keep contacts with companies and support the faculty in expanding its cooperation network.
You also keep contacts with partner universities and support the university in maintaining and developing its partner network and promoting internationalization.

What you bring with you

You are an engaged and professionally qualified person who actively supports in shaping our teaching programs in German and English.
You inspire students with enthusiasm for the subject area and current developments in the fields of International Management. You enjoy passing on your current professional experience and knowledge in this field to young people in a lively and practically relevant way.
You combine your academic background in International Management (with a doctorate or equivalent qualification) with your current, relevant practical experience in this field.
Ideally, you have international professional experience in the required subject area and bring experience in university teaching or adult education.
Your profile comes with a cooperative and integrative working style and a willingness to work in an international setting, which also includes travel abroad.
