About us:
The Cluster of Excellence ‘Cross-Cultural Philology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) uses a cross-cultural approach to examine philological practices and cultural dynamics over a period of five millennia. It will bring to light the richness of philological traditions in their mutual interaction in the Near and Middle East, in East Asia, on the Indian subcontinent, in North, East and West Africa, and in Europe. - To maintain relevant research data, to identify key trends, and to position the Cluster in collaboration with partner institutions from science, industry, and culture.
- To develop formats and cooperation projects to qualify early career researchers for non-academic career paths and support networking with external actors (e.g., museums, libraries, companies).
- To contribute your perspective to strategic processes (as an advisory member of the Executive Board) and to coordinate, together with the Cluster Office, measures for external representation and network maintenance.
Your qualifications:
- A completed university degree (Master’s, Diplom, teaching qualification), ideally with a doctoral degree, and preferably bring experience in science communication and management of scientific projects. Additionally, you have organizational experience, ideally in an academic/university context.
