Your personal sphere of influence:

As a university assistant prae doc, you will be part of the research team around Professor Rodríguez Martín.

Our Team Rodríguez Martín currently consists of 1 post doc, student assistents and administrative colleagues.

What is particularly important to us is to strive for top quality scholarship and passionate teaching.

Your future tasks:

You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means:

• You are involved in research projects and scientific studies in the area of Roman Law.
• We expect you to finalize your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months.
• You work on your dissertation and its completion.
• You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
• You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration.
• You assist Prof. Rodríguez Martín with the implementation and management of research projects and academic conferences.

This is part of your personality:

• Completed Master's degree or Diploma, in the field Law/Legal Studies.
• Basic experience in academic writing and with research methods.
• Didactic competences and experiencein the field of course administration, in particular in supporting teaching, e-learning, the preparation and marking of examinations, and providing feedback to students in the subject of Roman Law.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (C1 Level). (Knowledge of Spanish is particularly valued, to assist Prof. Rodríguez Martín with the marking of academic and educational texts).
• IT user skills.
• Desireable knowledge is Latin.
• You should be a team player with high social skills.

The employment duration is 3 years. Initially limited to 1.5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 3 years if the employer does not terminate it within the first 12 months by submitting a non-extension declaration.
