Professor (f/m/d)
in Economics, with a focus on Innovation Economics

(Base Salary: W 2)

Part-time employment is possible.

Your tasks:

• Teaching (in German and English) in the field of Economics within the degree programs of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, especially in Introductory Economics, Innovation Economics, and advanced courses in Economics
• Establishment of a research profile as well as national and international research activities incl. publications
• Networking with regional stakeholders (companies, transfer networks, innovation platforms, technology transfer offices, competence networks etc.)
• Participation in academic self-administration

Your profile:

• Professional expertise in the field of Economics, covering both research and teaching
• Background in innovation economics, ideally with a focus on regional economics
• Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally leadership experience
• Enthusiasm for working with young people and their development
• Openness for the further development and implementation of innovative teaching concepts
• Openness to develop new teaching content according to further strategic employment
• High social competence in dealing with students, colleagues and employees
• Fluent in German (minimum C2-level) and in English (minimum C1-level)

The hiring requirements for professorships result from § 49 of the Higher Education Act of Rhineland-Palatinate (HochSchG).
