The following professorship is to be filled in the department bauen-kunst-werkstoffe / Architektur at the location Koblenz as soon as possible: 

Professor Circular construction, building materials science and design (f/m/d)

(Base Salary: W 2)

Part-time employment is possible.

Your tasks:

• Teaching (in German and English) in the subject areas Circular construction, building materials science and design 
• Establishment of a research profile as well as national and international research activities incl. publications
• Networking with regional stakeholders (companies, associations, etc.) 
• Participation in academic self-administration

Your profile:

• Professional expertise in the teaching area  Circularity of building materials in new and existing buildings
• Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally leadership experience
• Enthusiasm for working with young people and their development
• Openness for the further development and implementation of innovative teaching concepts 
• Openness to develop new teaching content according to further strategic employment
• High social competence in dealing with students, colleagues and employees
• Fluent in German (minimum C2-level) and in English (minimum C1-level)

The hiring requirements for professorships result from § 49 of the Higher Education Act of Rhineland-Palatinate (HochSchG).
