Your activities

Develop cutting-edge optical metrology systems for scientific and industrial applications
Perform hands-on experimental research in quantum optics and photonic technologies
Advance state-of-the-art calibration methods through innovative instrumentation
Work closely with international partners in collaborative R&D projects
Present findings at conferences and publish in high-impact peer-reviewed journals
Contribute to the scientific and technological progress in precision measurement

Your profile

Master of Science degree in a technical field, preferably optical physics or engineering, with eligibility for PhD enrollment at German universities (3-year PhD project)
Excellent command of English (spoken and written) and good in German
Independent, proactive working style with high commitment and motivation
Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills
Willingness to travel, including extended research stays at partner institutions
Interest in interdisciplinary research and international collaboration
