Main tasks

Research in the field of biostatistical methods development
Writing of scientific publications in international journals
Presentation of research results at scientific conferences
Supporting in teaching activities at the Mathematical Institute

Your Profile

You must hold a master’s degree within mathematics, statistics or similar fields with a strong foundation in mathematics/statistics
You should have coding experience in R or Python and bring enthusiasm for interdisciplinary work at the intersection of statistics and medicine/biology

Our Offer
The position is to be occupied from 01.04.2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The employment is initially limited to a period of 3 years with the option for prolongation.

It is a qualification position in the sense of the Act of Academic Fixed-Term Contract (Wissenschaftsvertragsgesetz -WissZeitVG), which is to promote the scientific qualification of the employee. You are expected to pursue a PhD and will be supported in this aim.
