RWTH Aachen University is one of Germany’s pre-eminent Universities of Excellence and is renowned for its high-quality teaching and world-class research. We are inviting applications for the position of full professor in the area of welding and joining, to be filled by July 1, 2027.

We are looking for a dedicated, interdisciplinary-minded professional. The research and teaching responsibilities include material-bonded joining processes such as welding, bonding, and brazing—ranging from basic research to industrial applications. You are also experienced in related fields such as materials science.
