Faculty of Protestant Theology invites applications for a
Professorship (W2)
of New Testament Studies II
with a Focus on New Testament Studies
and Greco-Roman Culture
(permanent position)
commencing as soon as possible.
The successful candidate is expected to represent the entire field of
New Testament Studies in research and teaching with special emphasis
on the literature and history of early Christianity in the context of
the Greco-Roman world.
Prerequisites for this position are a university degree in Protestant
theology, a doctoral degree or a comparable specific qualification,
teaching skills at university level, excellent academic achievements
and a productive and promising research program.
