of Organic Materials
The successful candidate shall represent organic chemistry in research and teaching. He or she is expected to contribute to one of the focus areas of research at Clausthal University of Technology („Innovative Materials and Processes for Competitive Products“, „Raw Materials Supply and Resource Efficiency“, and „Sustainable Energy Systems“). Teaching shall mainly be for the bachelor and master courses in Chemistry with some contributions to the programs of Materials Science and Engineering as well as Chemical Engineering.
Potential research topics are:
- Synthesis of functional, organic materials
- Organic electrosynthesis and electrochemically active materials
- Organic synthesis involving renewable raw materials
- Chemical modification of surfaces, interfaces and particles
- Synthesis of novel compounds with improved properties or functions in recycling and separation
