for the field of "Cognitive Networks for Smart Cities".

|The professorship covers research and teaching in the subject area of information and communication
technologies, with a focus on emerging wireless network architectures. The appointee for the announced position is
expected to conduct international-level research towards addressing the communication needs of resilient and sustainable
smart city infrastructures of the future. Topics of particular interest in this domain include distributed cognitive architectures,
ad hoc and mesh networks, collaborative networks, network virtualization, software-defined networking (SDN),
and flexible resource provisioning and allocation in future network generations.
Teaching duties of the professorship will be associated with the Bachelors‘ and Masters‘ degree programs in Computer Science and Computer Engineering courses at TU Berlin.
Requirements:Successful applicants must fulfill the requirements for appointment at the professor level in compliance with § 100 BerlHG (Berlin Higher Education Act), including a completed academic education, qualified achievements in research (PhD), post-doctoral lecture qualification (Habilitation) or equivalent qualification and pedagogical didactic qualifications, to be proven by a teaching portfolio (for further information see TUB Website, quick as no. 144242).
