to head the junior research group "Competition and Regulation"As head of the research group, we expect you to lead the group‘s activities in new and exciting directions and to shape the continuing development of competition and regulation research at ZEW both strategically and in terms of content. ZEW welcomes applicants holding a doctoral degree in economics with outstanding previous academic performance and a sound knowledge of empirical industrial economics. Skills in developing and estimating structural models would be preferable. Ideally, applicants should also have first-hand experience in providing political advice, securing third-party funds and leading project groups. A command of the German language is a prerequisite. Remuneration is based on the TVL (E 14) statutory salary scale and its associated public sector benefits.
