Research Associate (m/f) project management in maize breeding and research

We are seeking at the earliest opportunity in the frame of a maternity and parental leave replacement for a limited period of 18 months in part- or fulltime a Research Scientist (m/f) for the Maize Breeding Technology Group at KWS SAAT SE in Einbeck/ Germany. Working hours can be designed flexibly for 20 to 40 hours per week and requires participation in a few fixed meetings in the morning and the afternoon.

Your tasks:
  • Planning and organization of project meetings and scientific seminars, also internationally
  • Project management of the internal reporting in maize breeding and research
  • Support in the preparation of scientific reports and presentations
  • Support in the coordination of external and internal research projects
  • Work in an international team of plant breeders and researchers

  • MSc or PhD in biology or agriculture
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge in one of the areas plant breeding, genetics or molecular biology
  • Pronounced team and communication skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English and German
  • Good practical experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
