Faculty II - Institute of Theoretical Physics / Statistical Physics of Soft Matter and Biological Systems
Reference number: II-555/17 (starting at 01/02/18 / for a period of max. 5 years / closing date for applications 17/11/17)
Working field: Teaching assistant and research in the field of statistical physics of soft matter and biological systems with the focus on non-equilibrium statistical physics, active systems, complex fluids and (bio-)fluid dynamics at our institute.
Requirements: Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) and a PhD degree in physics or equivalent; very good knowledge in theoretical physics and didactical skills are necessary; fluency in spoken and written German is necessary; knowledge in statistical physics of soft matter and in numerical methods is favored; high level of commitment, ability to work independently.
