The candidate will be representing and responsible for teaching and research in
the field of ’Processing and Recycling technology’. The candidate should be an
internationally well-established researcher specialized on resources and residue
process technologies, waste recycling and secondary raw material extraction.
The field of research would encompass solid, liquid and suspensions of residues
especially those of bio-recycling materials. The focus lies on the development
of an innovative method combining the physical, chemical and biological processes
to recover reusable materials. Furthermore, the implementation of this innovation
in the framework of sustainable resource management and economy is important.
Teaching duties include mandatory and elective courses in the field of processing
of raw materials, residues and recycling technologies for Bachelor and Master
courses such as Process engineering, Environment and raw materials technology,
Environment engineering, Renewable resource technology and Land use and
water management, as offered by the faculty.
Active contribution to the structured PhD program within the framework of the
Graduate Research School is expected. Many of the lectures must be offered
in English as well. The candidate is expected to undertake the lead position in
management duties at an appropriately benchmarked level.
