The Faculty is looking for an individual for a position involving scientific analysis and study of planning and drafting processes (in both architectural and urban environments) and spatial development processes. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate architecture and urban planning students. Applicants should have a distinguished track record in the exploration of theoretical concepts and methodical challenges of planning and spatial development and experience in planning practice. A doctorate in this field is a prerequisite for this appointment. The professorship covers spatial, social and organizational conditions for planning, and consultation procedures and their implementation. The successful applicant must have made innovative contributions to the theory and methodology of planning and urban research. The position expects collaboration with other faculties of the university.
The professorship is closely linked with the Bachelor / Master programs in Architecture and Urban Design.
