Professorship (W3) in „Building Physics“AT THE CHAIR OF BUILDING PHYSICS I AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
This professorship includes the leadership of a field of activity within the Fraunhofer Institute of Building Physics in Stuttgart.
The successful candidate is a personality experienced in excellent and interdisciplinary research and is expected to cover the whole area of Building Physics in research and teaching.
The professorship’s working area mainly comprises the phenomena of energy, heat, humidity and light inside components, inside rooms and in the surroundings of structure works, considering efficiency and sustainability.
In particular, knowledge of and experience in experimental methods, modelling and simulation are desirable. Furthermore, Life Cycle Engineering of products and processes is part of the work.
Contributions to teaching Building Physics are expected, mainly in study courses offered by the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, including the advanced training course „Master: Online Building Physics“, and in the graduate program „People inside“.
