candidate is expected to be a senior scholar who is committed to a state-of-the-art
research programme and able to provide leadership in the field in research
(publications and/or third party-funded research) and teaching. Candidates
should have demonstrated their ability to produce the highest quality research
and to teach students at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Candidates should demonstrate that they can contribute to the university’s
research clusters in general and the Institute of Business and Economics
research cluster on "Innovation in value chains" and/or "Structural change,
decentralisation and regional economic development" in particular. The ability
to conduct and develop cross-faculty research projects (jointly with researchers
from engineering, mathematics, technology or sciences) is also highly appreciated.
The successful candidate is expected to have an excellent publication record
and be well-connected to national and international higher education institutions
and other research centres. The post-holder may be required to contribute to
college courses, too.
