Professorship (W3) for Neuroradiology
Successful applicants need to have outstanding, internationally
visible scientific achievements and to be able to further develop the
neuroscience focus of the medical faculty and the Frankfurt location.
They are expected to cooperate particularly closely with their
clinical and scientific neighboring disciplines and contribute to their
interdisciplinary topics. A close cooperation with the Institute of
Diagnostic and lnterventional Radiology is envisaged. Excellent

The holder of the position will be Director of the Institute of
Neuroradiology. He/She should hold the qualification »Neuroradiology«
and will be responsible for research, teaching and clinical care in this
field. Long-standing clinical experience in positions of responsibility,
exceptional organizational capabilities and management qualifications
are also expected.
The designated salary for the position is based on <W3> of the
German University scale or equivalent. The responsibilities regarding
clinical care will be regulated by a separate contract establishing
a performance-based pay with constant and variable components.
Prerequisites for the application are a university degree, significant
teaching skills, a doctorate and habilitation (postdoctoral lecture
qualification Ievels) or comparable scientific achievements as part of
a junior professorship or acquired at a non-university institution.
