Professorship (W2, tenure track)
The initial tenure track appointment is for six years (§ 64 of the Higher Education Act of the
State of Hessen (HHG)). Upon positive evaluation, the incumbent will be promoted to a
permanent position at a higher level (W3). The professorship is part of the IMFS and assigned
to the Department of Money and Macroeconomics of the Faculty of Economics and Business.
Applicants are expected to focus on "microeconomic foundations of financial markets in
economy-wide models". Furthermore, successful applicants should contribute to
interdisciplinary projects in the area of "price stability and financial stability" in the IMFS.

The professorship is expected to participate actively in the teaching of the undergraduate and graduate programs. The designated salary for the position is based on the German university pay scale or equivalent.
