The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Goethe- University Frankfurt invites applications for the following position starting at the earliest possible date:

Professorship (W2, Tenure Track) "Business
Taxation and/or Financial Accounting"

The initial tenure track appointment is for six years (§ 64 of the Higher Education Act of the State of Hessen (HHG)). Upon positive evaluation, the incumbent will be promoted to a permanent position at a higher level (W3).
The professorship is assigned to the Accounting Department. Successful applicants are expected to contribute in accounting research and to establish a strong research group with international reputation.
We are looking for candidates with a publication record in internationally leading scientific journals. The professorship is expected to participate actively in the teaching of the Bachelor Program, the Master Program as well as in the Ph.D. Program. Required is also a teaching experience in the relevant fields.
The designated salary for the position is based on the German university pay scale or equivalent.
