W2 Professorship "Information Design" at Münster School of Design

Your tasks
  • You will teach the subject area of "Information Design" specialising in "Communica­tions Design" at Bachelor and Master level.
  • From an interdisciplinary perspective, you will represent the Illustration, Product Design and Media Design areas of specialisation.
  • Your field of work will involve organising and designing crossmedia formats for teaching knowledge and information.
  • You will further develop the field of work "Information Design" in teaching and research in a future-oriented manner.
  • You will become involved in self-government and will develop new forms of teaching and learning, supported by a wide range of training opportunities in teaching offered by the university.
Your profile
  • You have a specialist back­ground in Communications Design with a proven track record in Information Design, analogue and digital.
  • Ideally, you will have several years of practical cross-media experience in a responsible position outside higher education.
  • You already have some experience in university teaching.
  • You have good contacts with industry and are interested in applied research.
  • You have a good command of English.
  • Professional experience abroad would be desirable.
